Friday, October 18: 5:30-9:30pm
Founded in 1978 in Seattle’s famed Pike Place Market, Glass Eye Studio is one of the largest privately-owned hot shops in the country with some of the most famous glass artists of the Pacific Northwest coming through the doors over the years. Since moving to the historic Ballard neighborhood, the studio continues to create the fine blown glass objects it has become best known for.
On October 18, we’re inviting Glass Eye founder Rob Adamson and some of our famous alums, along with other glassblowing greats, to the studio for the ultimate hot shop jam session! Martin Blank, Nancy Callan, Paul DeSomma, Karen Willenbrink-Johnsen, Michael Schunke & Ryan Blythe will collaborate with Chris Steffens and our team of artisan glassblowers to craft works of art on the fly.
Swing to the live tunes of The Dusty 45s while enjoying food from Two Shoe BBQ & Dottie’s Double Wide and drink from Fremont Mischief Distillery, Glass Vodka, Tinte Cellars, Stoup Brewing & Future Primitive Brewing.
Tickets: $45 per person (+sales tax), includes food & drink with 10% of proceeds going to support Hilltop Artists. This is a 21+ event.
